At Ashwood Glen, curiosity doesn’t stop at the classroom door — it becomes the driving force for discovery, innovation, and global awareness.
This year’s Science Fair transformed our learners into innovators, changemakers, and future-ready leaders, all inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — the global framework shaping a better, more sustainable future for everyone.
We were delighted that Burlington Today joined us to celebrate this inspiring day of exploration, highlighting how Ashwood Glen’s approach to inquiry-based, future-focused learning helps students connect their studies to the real world.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are more than global targets — they are a shared vision to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all. Within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme, these goals provide a powerful framework that encourages students to explore real-world issues through curiosity, compassion, and collaboration.

Through this lens, Ashwood Glen students become future-ready global citizens, developing critical thinking, communication, and ethical decision-making skills that prepare them not only for academic success but also for meaningful impact in an ever-changing world.
Each Science Fair project demonstrated how curiosity, creativity, and courage combine to fuel innovation and problem-solving:
Experience the excitement, creativity, and collaboration that made the day unforgettable — from our youngest Montessori learners to our IB students and parents, every participant embodied the spirit of future-ready learning in action.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to our Parent Engagement Committee (PEC) for helping bring science to life with interactive STEM stations, from baking soda volcanoes to oobleck experiments — igniting joy and wonder in every participant, from Montessori and IB students to our parents.
At the close of the fair, students and families joined in a Green Pledge, promising to take small but meaningful actions at home to help create a cleaner, greener Burlington.
Ashwood Glen is proud to be voted Best Private School in Burlington for the second consecutive year. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to future-ready, globally minded education, and our belief that every student has the potential to Inspire. Empower. Excel.
