A Morning of Kindness and Community: Parent Engagement Committee Pancake Breakfast

Bringing Our Community Together

At Ashwood Glen, some of the most meaningful moments happen when our school community comes together to celebrate. This year, our Parent Engagement Committee (PEC) hosted a wonderful Pancake Breakfast, creating a warm and welcoming morning filled with delicious food, friendship, and connection.

Families, students, and staff gathered to enjoy fresh pancakes, meaningful conversations, and the joy of spending time together outside the classroom. It was a celebration that reflected what makes Ashwood Glen so special—a close-knit community where every family belongs.

Sharing Sweet Moments

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, students also took part in a heartwarming Valentine card exchange. Thoughtfully written messages of kindness and friendship were shared among classmates, bringing smiles to faces and reminding everyone of the importance of caring for one another.

These simple acts of kindness help foster empathy, respect, and meaningful relationships—values that are woven into everyday life at Ashwood Glen.

More Than Breakfast

The Pancake Breakfast was more than a community event; it was an opportunity to strengthen the partnerships that make our school such a supportive and welcoming place.

Parents had the chance to connect with one another, students enjoyed celebrating alongside their friends, and the morning was filled with laughter, conversation, and lasting memories.

Events like these reinforce the importance of building strong relationships between families, students, and staff, creating a school culture where everyone feels valued and connected.

Thank You to Our Parent Engagement Committee

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Parent Engagement Committee (PEC) for organizing such a memorable morning. Their dedication, generosity, and commitment to building community make experiences like this possible.

We are also grateful to our families for joining us and helping create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines Ashwood Glen.

Celebrating Together

At Ashwood Glen, learning extends beyond academics. We believe that a strong school community is built through shared experiences, meaningful connections, and moments of celebration.

Our Pancake Breakfast was a wonderful reminder that when families, students, and educators come together, they create a community where everyone can thrive.

Here’s to many more mornings filled with kindness, laughter, and togetherness.

Inspire. Empower. Excel.
