At Ashwood Glen, we know that a child’s educational journey is strongest when school and home work together. That’s why we were delighted to welcome our families to our annual Parent Appreciation Night—an evening dedicated to celebrating the incredible partnership that helps our students thrive.
Filled with laughter, conversation, and community spirit, the event was a wonderful opportunity for parents, staff, and students to connect outside the classroom and celebrate another successful school year together.
From the moment families arrived, they were welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere complete with delicious food, our signature blue drink, and opportunities to relax and enjoy one another’s company.
The evening was designed to bring our community together, creating meaningful moments that reflect the supportive and inclusive culture of Ashwood Glen.
One of the highlights of the evening was seeing our Grade 5/6 students step into leadership roles by organizing and running interactive game stations for families to enjoy.
With enthusiasm and confidence, they welcomed participants, explained the games, and encouraged everyone to join in the fun. Their leadership, communication, and collaboration showcased the skills they continue to develop through the IB Primary Years Programme and demonstrated how learning extends beyond the classroom.
Adding to the excitement was a raffle featuring prizes generously donated by Ashwood Glen and our valued community partners. The raffle brought smiles, excitement, and an extra touch of celebration to an already memorable evening.
Events like these remind us that our school is more than a place of learning—it’s a community where relationships are valued, achievements are celebrated, and every family plays an important role.
We are deeply grateful to every parent and family member who joined us for this special evening. Your encouragement, involvement, and partnership help create the nurturing environment that allows our students to grow with confidence and purpose.
