Welcome to Ashwood Glen, Burlington’s new and progressive private school, where we offer programs for children from toddlers through to Grade 8. Our mission is to foster excellence, inspire leadership and empower students with skills and qualities to lead fulfilling lives.

Discover the Ashwood Glen Difference!

The Ashwood Glen Learning Program is unique; it places equal emphasis on academics, activities and Personal and Social-Emotional Learning (PSEL). Our academic program is enhanced through concept-driven inquiry and a transdisciplinary learning, with a focus on learner agency and international mindedness.

Our PSEL program is designed to support the personal development, academic learning and wellbeing of our students. The program is proactive, developmental and responsive which is integrated throughout our curriculum. 

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) are emphasized throughout our curriculum as well. Small student-teacher ratios allow individualized focus on each child’s developmental and learning needs to extend the outcomes of the Ontario Curriculum which is delivered by expert teachers. 

In addition to the above, we offer a variety of extra-curricular clubs and activities including robotics, maker space, cooking, Model UN, social enterprise, dance and more. 

Our school also offers before and after care, summer camps and transportation services to help our students and families during the Ashwood Glen journey.

We are excited to host an Open House event on October 26, 2019. We invite prospective families who are interested in learning more about what makes us different and how we can impact the lives of their children. We will share our holistic approach to education and encourage you to explore our school’s inviting learning spaces that are designed to foster creativity and critical thinking in learners of all ages.
