Welcome to Ashwood Glen, Burlington’s progressive private school, where we are proud to offer educational programs for Toddlers to Grade 8 students. We are excited to announce that our brand new Junior School (grades 1-5) and Middle School (grades 6-8) are open for tours!
For parents and prospective students, we invite you to come to visit our facility and meet the staff so that you can have a better idea of what we offer and how your children can flourish in our student-centered environment.

Discover The Ashwood Glen Difference!
At Ashwood Glen, our academic program integrates core concepts from the established Montessori education and the principles and practices from the International Baccalaureate (IB). The design of the Montessori program is ideal for students in our Children’s House. The program stimulates learning through inquiry, harnessing their curiosity and exploratory nature. Moreover, the approach allows children to learn at their own unique pace. The IB approach in our Junior and Middle schools offer concept-driven inquiries that are transdisciplinary and focused on developing internationally-minded global citizens.
Our holistic learning program is designed to focus on the development of all aspects of the child: cognitive, physical, and social. With an emphasis on critical thinking, a collaborative educational setting, and ongoing open communication, we aim to foster an environment that caters to all learners while celebrating their individualism and leveraging their talents.
Our low student-teacher ratio and small class sizes of 10 to 16 students allow each student the utmost attention. Our student-centred and inquiry-based learning program is designed to satiate the thirst for knowledge in all students and allow each student to explore, create, and discover answers. Our programs are proactive, developmental, and responsive to each student’s unique needs, talents, and interests.
Our programs include foreign language development, mentorship programs, leadership opportunities, creative activities, team-building exercises, and school assemblies. Our students are involved in their own learning and are well-prepared for life.
In addition to academics, we also offer before and after school care, summer camps, and a variety of extra-curricular activities and student clubs to enhance the learning experience.
