What is IB (International Baccalaureate) Education?

The IB framework is a concept-driven, transdisciplinary and inquiry-based approach in which students develop the confidence to take responsibility for their learning with the goal of becoming internationally minded individuals, equipped to take responsibility in making a positive difference in their personal and global communities. The framework promotes and encourages academic and intercultural competencies, while simultaneously meeting the social and emotional needs of our students. So, what is IB (International Baccalaureate) Education?

The IB (International Baccalaureate) Organization was founded in 1968, in Geneva, Switzerland. The organization is a foundation that is non-profit, and provides students with an education rooted in a pedagogy designed to expand human ability, character and moral development. The way IB education focuses on those traits is through its hands-on approach on practical, applicated oriented learning.

Our pedagogy integrates both the core concepts from the established Montessori and the progressive International Baccalaureate (IB) methodologies. As these are two proven-formats, we merge them to create an educational program that is customized, well-balanced, and unique for each student. Our approach facilitates both early social and academic learning to ensure that children receive the best education possible, and are able to strive in every area of their education.
